This is an exclusive and picturesque course built on rolling terrain. There is a creek that flows throughout the course that comes into play on a few holes. The greens are very small and sloped. Water hazards come into play on four holes. William Langford redesigned the course in the 1930's. Caddies are mandatory if you choose to walk the course.

How golf should be!!!, May 08, 2005

This is an immaculately kept golf course with alot of character. Tons of old trees line the fairways. Many teeboxes force you to tee-off through shoots. The greens are very fast and almost all slope from back to front as in most traditional old courses. The slope of the course is actually 133(mens) and 137 (champ). This club is one of the best kept secrets in south chicago.
