| This Jack Nicklas designed Country Club 18 hole course is a beautifully maintained and maturing layout. There is not an abundance of trees, just the right amount. The course is about 25 years old. The average handicap golfer can be challenged from the blue Tees or play to their ability from the eaiser white Tees. The championship Black Tees are set up to challenge even the best scratch golfer including Jack. The front 9 is eaiser than the back 9 where a lot of water and sand come into play. Have your sand game in shape as Jack loves sand and the look of some holes is scary for the "sand bunker challenged". I have a 12 handicap and find that the Blue tees are fine when I am playing well and the whites when I'm not. I shoot 79 to 85 on any given day. The par 3s are long from the blues, around 190-205 yards, so playing them from the white Tees allows a different choice of clubs for variety. The club has 3 tennis courts and a beautiful swimming pool and elegant but unpretentious clubhouse. The staff is wonderful and the head chef and his staff are of the highest quality. The make-up of the membership is wonderful! This is not a "snooty Country Club" everyone is friendly and polite and the golf proshop staff is laid back, helpful and friendly. You will love this place, I do! Oh, the price is right too!
