This club is located directly on the Maine/New Brunswick border. The terrain is rolling throughout making it a tough walk without a powered cart. Some fairways are dogleg configurations and rolling. Two water hazards and several bunkers provide a challenge. The greens are fast and undulating. The signature hole is #14, a 530-yard, par 5, featuring a downhill dogleg left fairway and a pond protecting the front of the green.

This golf course is one of the most beautiful and relaxing courses I have ever played on. The natural beauty of the area is emphasized. It is a challenging course that is very well manicured for such a small area of the province. I'd recommend AVCC to anyone.

I play this course regularly on a ladies league. It is consistently in great shape, with very challenging greens. The greens are typically in fantastic shape--better than The Bluffs by far! The pro, Dave is knowledgable and great for lessons for both beginners and those wanting to improve. I believe the only 'problem' is for the men following the ladies on their league days--we're trying to pick up our speed. You'll enjoy the challenges of the water(there is a creek/water on 7 of the 9 holes) and sand traps.

Beaver Brook Golf & Country Club
"The brook"
Beaver Brook is a nice course that was developed in the 50's. Because of that, it is not the longest course, and it is more technical than some of the more modern, open designs. The fairways are narrow and hilly with a lot of blind approach shots, and the greens are small. From the Blue it is about 6000 yards, but plays longer because of some of the second shot angles and elevated greens. If you keep it in the fairway, you can score. If you don't, it will be a long round.
