This club has two outstanding eighteen hole courses. The East Course is the championship course and water comes into play on fourteen holes. The signature hole, #3, is a 173-yard, par 3, with a waterfall that stretches across the front of the green. The club hosts the Dixie Amateur and a Pro Family Tournament yearly. The West Course has less length and less water and one extra par 3 on each nine. The West Course is the easier of the two designs.

Yes I know I'm getting old when I remember when they built this course when nothing was around it.The greens most definitely need to be maintain better, the fairways also could use a little roundup.

East course has much better greens than the West. Lots of water, so accuracy over strength is needed. Very courteous staff. Nice driving range, that offers grass tees 50% of the time. Lots of professionals for lessons Prices much cheaper in summer. Offer a Rain Check if you've done less than half the course and it is closed due to weather.

there course is terrible no green maintenance at all you might as well putt in a mine field as there are more weeds on the green i recomend 100 semi trilers of round up then again an upgrade of the west course could be found at boomers in dania better greens and lot less money and they give ball and putters lol

"Waste of time & money"
This course is extremely over rated. It's like most private courses these days "broke". They don't have enough money to make the course live up to the name it once carried. It's the Wal-Mart of golf courses (had a good name at one time, but now you don't get what you paid for).

Loon Lake Golf Course
"a step back in time"
This is a fun little course with gorgeous views on the wide open front nine and a true test of a golfer's abilities on the tight, wooded back nine. The back 9 was built in 1895 and is a well designed gem by noted golf course architect Seymour Dunn. Walk this quiet course and you'll feel like you've somehow stepped back in time. Avoid the black flies in late May/early June (they'll carry you away! If you can handle the little vampire bugs, playing this course on a breezy day in May with the die hard locals is a quietly rewarding experience). Play this course in late June/early July for a real treat. September golf is also fun here and the colors late in the month are spectacular, especially from the 9th green. Course maintenance is minimal, but the small crew does wonders with the budget they have to work with. Don't miss playing this course as the future is uncertain--the owners are unsure whether the course will remain open for much longer. This is a unique golf experience for anyone interested in the roots and origin of the game of golf. Thanks, Mike

Concho Valley Country Club
"Fun Course"
Concho Valley Golf club is one of my favorites. Some trickey holes, some easy. Usually great greens. Just a fun to play course. You can't beat the green fees, $25 with cart for seniors in the summer.
