This club has two outstanding eighteen hole courses. The club annually hosts the National Pro AM. The Bear Course has many trees coming into play, and the Bobcat Course has water hazards coming into play on fourteen holes. The signature hole on the Bear Course is #14, a 503-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up a narrow fairway with out-of-bounds stakes lining on one side of the fairway and a lake on the other, then an approach shot to an undulating green that is well bunkered. Lewis added the back nine to the Bear Course in 1986, and Gene Bates redesigned the Bobcat Course around 1990.

Newnan Country Club
"Tough Layout"
Beautiful layout with a lot of elevation changes and fast, undulating greens. The course also winds through a lot of trees, mostly pines and oaks. First six holes are a real challenge. If you can survive these opening holes with a score that's just a few strokes over par, you may be able to recover by the end. The 15th hole is a monster from back tees, measuring almost 650 yards. Overall, bring every club in your bag.

This golf course is in the best shape ever!! it has the best greens in the country. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would reccommend this course to anyone at anytime. It challenges the scratch golfer as well as the high handicapper.

Lake Wilderness Golf Course
"Good targeted golf layout"
Likes: This is a good test of any golfers skill. It requires you to think and plan from the tee. Golfers who like to pull out "The Big Dog" and grip it and rip it on every hole will not like this course. The course forces you to play smart to score well. There are risk/reward holes worth the gamble, and others that attempt to sucker you. If you play smart you can score well at Lake Wilderness. If not, it may be a long day. This is a shorter course. The clubhouse has good food and good beer. Dislikes: Only one really. I don't care for holes where there are houses close. This course has a handful of them.
