This municipal facility has two eighteen hole courses. The Oaks Course is a shorter, more narrow course with water that comes into play on four holes. There are several dogleg fairways, and the design puts an emphasis on precise placement off the tee. The greens are also very small, and sand bunkers are prevalent in the layout. The back nine was added to the Oaks Course in 1994. The Pines Course is longer with wide-open fairways and large greens. The signature hole is #7, a 130-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a small, three-tiered green. The club personnel consider it to be a great course to improve your confidence. The direct telephone line to the Oaks Course is (850) 833-9530.

Same as Oaks... a little wider, Sep 19, 2005
reviewer: Claude W from Gatineau, Québec
Read the Oaks review. Courses are very similar but you can open up a bit more on Pines. Best for the money in the Destin area by a long shot if you can get a tee time. If you are a solo..... no problem, they will find you a spot.

I most always play The Oaks , but the pines is as good of a confidence builder as they say. Full breakdown- -Driving range ($2.00 bucket) -Good parking -Prices as of 7-26-04 18 before 2:30 pm = $36.00 w/cart 18 after 2:30 pm = $23.00 w/cart -Pro shop with good prices -Just a nice course -Not too many houses lining the fairways -Course is well maintained

Great course for the money, Mar 25, 2004

Great course for the money. It is the best kept municipal course I've played. Get a tee time, because they will book up.
