Every hole on this scenic course is different. The front nine is more hilly and tighter than the back nine. The elevated greens are fast, undulating, and a couple are double-tiered. Water hazards come into play on sixteen holes. The signature hole is #4, a 415-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up an extremely narrow, tree-lined fairway, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green. While Fort Wayne doesn't offer the kind of terraine or woods that make courses the most interesting, it is still possible to make the best of what is available. This is a residential golf community and takes advantage of the woods that are available and man-made ponds/lakes to come up with an overall good feel. The difficulty is whatever you choose to make it according to the tees you play and can be quite challenging from the tips. The course is well maintained, the greens hold well and are true and quick, and the fairways are tightly kept bentgrass. Overall this is ceretainly one of the better courses in Fort Wayne and its easy access from the interstate makes it a good destination if you are in the area. Tips for the course: Be patient but be ready to take advantage when the opportunity presents itself.

Wilshire Golf Club
"Good Challenge; Poor Conditions."
Wilshire is a challenge in disguise. With many decisions shots like weather to carry the creek on the first hole or whether or not to cut the corner off of the 17th. But the adverse course condidions can discourage most golfers that are looking for a challenge. Shabby fairways and greens give it a rough appearance but it is a good deal for the price.

Harding Park Golf Course - Fleming Course
"terrific 9-hole course"
even though Harding got all the attention during the renovation, the Fleming track received the same TLC and it is obvious. Great bargain for someone wanting to shoot 9 holes with top-quality teeboxes, fairways and greens.

I have played this course several times when traveling to the Cincinnati area and have found this gold course to be most scenic. First few holes are easy.. but this just to draw you into the ambush of trees, hills, water and rough that lie ahead. Very fun course to play. Nestled and secluded right in the corner of where three states meet, with views of the Ohio river and Great Miami River.
