This course was built on rolling terrain, and features many tree-lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on four holes, and the some of the small greens are elevated. The signature hole is #9, a 153-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to an elevated green that is surrounded by five sand bunkers.

| Well maintained. Plays longer than yardage when wind is out of the southwest. Wonderful greens putt true. long rough makes missing fairway troublesome.Par 3's can play difficult with bunkers Nice pro shop and friendly members and staff. Very good dinning room |

| While short in length although with a wind, the par 5's can play long, the rough and traps will make you realize quckly this is no easy walk in the park. The greens are fast and true and the fairways are in excellant shape. Orchard Ridge could rank higher if the traps were consistant. On balance, one of the best courses in the area. Friendly easy going club. |
