This long course has a creek that flows throughout its design which comes into play on seven holes. The greens are small, and the fairways are tree lined. This is the sight of the National Amateur State qualifier tournament. The first stage of a $1.5 million improvement project, a new practice range, was completed in 1997. Course renovation, under the watchful eye of PGA Tour veteran and former member Mark Brooks, began during the fall of the same year.

Old school and affordable, Aug 27, 2005 |

| I grew up on this course and took for granted its old school design. I haven't found a course I like as much since. There are quality people and from the tips this course is challenging. |

| I played the course and liked it so much I joined. It is an old style course that can easily be walked. The holes are a good mix of long and short. But it is the trees that make it a wonderful golf experience. Tee boxes located near the previous greens and tree lined fairways instead of housing developments. Priceless. |
