This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Red and White Courses are similar in design, except the Red Course doesn't have any water hazards in the design. The Blue Course has the Trinity River coming into play on about seven holes. These three well-maintained courses are fairly short and have open fairways.

This course is pretty good with open fair ways if your golf game has a slice or hook. Greens need a little more attention. Other wise this is a great course for beginners as well a great bargin on the green fees.

The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. Carper's Valley Golf Club
"local and enjoyable"
Although an older course it has improved with age and with the rainy season last year (2002) the greens are fuller. A range is available and I try to get the most of my short game with the putting green. The back nine brings you up next to the airport but the single engine planes are not loud and are enjoyable to watch landing as your partner tries to keep up your great shot.
