This course was built on rolling terrain and has medium to large-sized greens. The fairways are wide open, but there are several trees that come into play throughout the design. In addition, water hazards (five ponds and a creek) come into play on ten holes. Hole #5, a 164-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot over a pond to the green. The course was redesigned by Bob Lohmann in 1987.

Golf yes. Catering and food - Terrible!, Nov 16, 2006 |

| I recently had the opportunity to participate in a round of golf with friends. The golf course was well maintained and we had a great time. We then went to the clubhouse for some food and drinks. The food was terrible. The chicken sandwich and hamburgers were overcooked and one of the buns had a blue mold spot on it. When we complained the manager could care less! I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone. |

Quick greens, Aug 19, 2006 |

| Tuckaway is an old fashioned track with mature trees and lightning fast, steeply canted greens. While not particularly long or tight it more than offers a challenge on your approach shots. Deep soft bunkers guard the greens and if you should get above the hole the two options you normally have are one or three and possibly more putts. Two is virtually out of the question. If your having "navigation" issues off the tee that day you will find yourself pitching out from the dense woodlands. The tree line is very mature and escape to the green is unlikly. You will enjoy Tuckaway! |

| One of the best places I have ever golfed. I recommend this to any one who enjoys the sport of golf. Great fairways, greens, and even roughs. You can carry your own bag or even hire a caddy. It's a great deal, and I would definatly go again |
