This course has a pretty good design. The front nine is older than the back nine. The fairways have some slope to them, and the greens are a little bit smaller and faster than your average course. The green fees listed are good for all-day play. The ladies tee off from the same set as the men.

Great shape & sweet greens, Feb 08, 2007

Played this course over the summer 2006 - course was well maintained and very reasonable. The greens were flawless no diseases very lush & quick. Met the superintendent Matt on the back nine who told me the deep history of the course. Highly recommend this course to anyone. You would not believe the people that come from buffalo to play here. Hope to see you soon.

Played this course for the first time in 2 years. Much improved. Greens were slow but in good condition. New O/B waste areas are visually very attractive and give the course some character. Course condition much improved over past years. Was there an ownership or superintendent change?

Needs serious improvement... greens are nearly destroyed with fungal spots... poor management at its finest or maybe its poor financing! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Emerald Lakes Golf Center
"The nicest 9 hole around"
Emerald Lakes is a fun little course that provides the basic golf experiance to the younger golfers in the Elk Grove area. The course has many hazards, including hole 5 which is as good as an island hole as you could get at any 9 hole course. The Course tends to be real hard in the summer and extremely wet during the winter. Give the grass at least 3 or 4 days to soak up water after a hard rain or you'll be chipping out of the mud on most holes. Overall, the course provides just enough amusement to keep the low end golfers happy, while aslo providing a great practice facility including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The bottom line, this is the best 9 hole course in the Elk Grove Area.

The Canadian Golf course is both challenging and scenic. I was surprised to find such a course in the middle of the Texas panhandle. Thank you for your hard work to make the course great.
