This can be a difficult course because its terrain is heavily wooded. The fairways are wide though, and the large greens have many subtle breaks that are hard to read. In addition, man-made lakes come into play on several holes. The signature hole is #4, a 393-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over water. The ladies' par is actually 77.

Very good challenge, Aug 01, 2004
|You need to be long and strong. Keep the ball in the fairway, right to left helps. You will shoot a lot higher here than most golf course. I love that you get to hit all your clubs and it is the best challenge around. It is my fav in the area including: springchurch, deerrun, riverforest, pheasnat ridge and most of the other upper courses.|
