This can be a difficult course because its terrain is heavily wooded. The fairways are wide though, and the large greens have many subtle breaks that are hard to read. In addition, man-made lakes come into play on several holes. The signature hole is #4, a 393-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over water. The ladies' par is actually 77.

Very good challenge, Aug 01, 2004

You need to be long and strong. Keep the ball in the fairway, right to left helps. You will shoot a lot higher here than most golf course. I love that you get to hit all your clubs and it is the best challenge around. It is my fav in the area including: springchurch, deerrun, riverforest, pheasnat ridge and most of the other upper courses.
