This course has lush greens and many trees lining its fairways. Water hazards come into play on at least six holes. Hole #3, a 406-yard, par 5, is known as the "Hall of Fame" hole; locals say it has been rated as one of the top eighteen holes in the state. The par for ladies' is actually 75. David Gill added eleven new holes and redesigned the other seven in 1961.

Indian Creek Golf Course - Red Feather/Blackbird Course
"Enjoy"
The course is well maintained and the greens are fast and contoured. The back tees play over 7,000 yards long. Green fees are a little pricey. Red Feather and Blackbird are far more difficult than Grey Hawk. Grey Hawk is shorter and more forgiving. Blackbird is very long and the topography is hilly. Red Feather is the flattest of the 3 nines, but it is very tight and water does come into play. Most greens have lots of roll to them and require well placed shots in order to score well. The course was enjoyable to play.

Rams Hill Country Club
"Rams Hill Course Outstanding"
This course plays extremely well. Not only is this a beautiful course in every sense of the word, it is set in a most unique place - completely surrounded by the Anza Borrego Desert State Park (nation's largest state park). Two of my favorite holes on the course are the 14th and 18th. Both Fairways provide a challenge with a view. All and all a very nice experience. The Country Club also provides excellent vacation rental opportunities during the golfing experience at www.ramshill.org So get yourself out to Rams Hill - you won't want to leave.
