This course is fun because the speed of play is fast. There are many out-of-bounds stakes lining the fairways. Also, there are water spillways coming into play on many holes. The signature hole is #9, a 388-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway.

Great course, bad service, Sep 15, 2008
reviewer: golfer joe from frisco texas
I have played here 4 times, and one thing is consistent, the rude and/or unqualified personnel there. The marshal(s) were 2 high school kids making the rounds. They didn't even stop when my party was teeing off. The clubhouse staff is even more inconsiderate. If you play here, you will notice, believe me.

Great course, Dec 19, 2004
reviewer: Golfer0333 from Allen, TX
This is a great course it is very well kept. It is a challenging golf course that you can play for an afordable price. If you do not like this course than you have a serious problem there is nothing wrong with it.

Not as bad as some say, Nov 12, 2004
reviewer: MaMa from Frisco, TX
This is a wonderful course and I disagree with those who feel otherwise. If you don't like the homes on the golf course then go golf in a field (I think if you don't like the homes it's because you can't afford one and are jealous). The dogs are necessary to keep rude golfers out of yards and yes they do come in yards. This is a great and beautiful course and if you have problems with it then go to one of the more expensive courses - if you can afford it.

Good course with challenging holes, Aug 15, 2004
reviewer: R Evans from THe Colony, TX
This is a good course to play if you are a leisure golfer. It offers challenging holes for all skill levels. The par 5 dog leg left is a good hole to attempt an eagle if you drive over the houses on the left, but be careful and make sure you clear the houses. The yardage screens on the carts are also very helpful with proper club selection.

Plantation great for beginner golfers!, Jun 23, 2004
reviewer: Kim Foster from Frisco, TX
Plantation Golf Club in Frisco is a great beginner course. I've been playing golf for about 3 months now and it's challenging yet play is quick. Go to their website and take a survey to receive $10 off green/cart fee. That makes it extremely affordable.

NICE COURSE, BUT TOO MANY OUTSIDE FACTORS, Jun 16, 2004
reviewer: THE DUDE from PLANO, TX
ITS A FUN CHALLENGING PUBLIC COURSE. THE ONLY BAD PART ABOUT THE COURSE IS THAT THERE ARE TOO MANY HOUSES AND DISTRACTIONS(LIKE DOGS BARKING, LAWNMOWERS, ETC.). ALSO IF YOU LIKE TO PLAY SLOW, THIS IS NOT THE COURSE FOR YOU. THEY EMPHASIZE MORE OF A FAST PACE.
