This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Red Course has small greens and narrow fairways. The Blue Course has fast greens and tree-lined fairways. The White Course has tree-lined fairways and large greens. One lake comes into play on the Red Course. The club was host to the 1993 Kemper Open qualifiers and the 1992 Virginia State Junior Championship. Rees Jones redesigned the course in 1984. Many different green fee rates apply for this course, including a time when cart rentals are mandatory. Please contact the pro shop for exact details regarding green fees and special rates prior to paying them a visit. The two forward tees are rated for men and ladies.

Exceptional Value, May 03, 2004

This course, which I have played fairly often for nearly 10 years now, is almost always in excellent shape, with near perfect lies in the fairways. The greens are fairly fast and in excellent condition. Overall maintenance of the course is therefore, execellent. Even though it is not very long, it can be tight. Shots off the fairway more often then not are stymied by evergreens, which require you to shoot sideways or maybe even backwards for your next shot. It is an exceptional value in that it only cost $12 to walk after 2 Monday - Fridays, and is highly recommended.
