This course has large, undulating greens. Water comes into play on two holes, but there are no sand bunkers. The course was cut through farm country with cattle lining hole #3, a 427-yard, par 4, and a corn field lining one side of hole #9, a 581-yard, par 5.

This course is fairly short with a few challenging places. Some holes you can either hit your driver or play it safe with a long iron. There are places that are very hilly but overall it is an enjoyable course.

Allegheny Country Club
"Love It!"
Allegheny offers a very private, and enjoyable experience. The course is rarely busy, and offers a real challenge with the short stick. Many of the holes are a bit short, but if you can't putt, you will not score well. The ground are kept in immaculate condition, and the scenery, especially on the back nine, is breathtaking.

Whitney Farms Golf Club
"Tight and Challenging"
This course is a above average golfers dream. Length and contour is a premium. Tree lined fairways, you'd think you're in the Lincoln Tunnel.You need to play smart to score well. The below average golf will have ample oppurtunities to score well on the par 5's and the par 3's. The par 4's ,lets leave those for the big boys. In all, it is good for everyone, at a reasonable price, on a country club setting on a New England landscape.

Very challenging course. You cannot rely on your driver for this course. You have to use your whole bag. The biggest mistake people make playing this course is using the driver on every tee. Playing smart and laying up are the keys to a great round
