This long and difficult course requires shot accuracy because of its narrow fairways. There are out-of-bounds stakes lining many holes, and the windy conditions make proper club selection a major part of the game. In addition, water hazards come into play on eleven holes.

Incredible Course and Extremely Challenging!, Apr 12, 2004

This is a great course and it's well cared for. The greens are super fast and you can almost always count on a true roll. There's no blaming the greens for your missed putts here! This course puts a premium on accuracy off the tees. It's challenging and even when the hole looks easy (like a couple of the par 3's), you find that it's a lot harder than it looks. Take lots of balls and have fun. It's a great course and you'll have a great time!!

Quarry Hills Country Club
"Natural golf"
Ellis Maples used time-tested design methods on Quarry Hills golf course. Not alot of earth was moved when placing the holes, and the result is a warm, natural feel when walking this course. In fact, it was made to walk. Despite its short length, it is a strong test of golfing skill to score well here. A true Hidden Gem in North Carolina.

Tierra del Sol Golf Club
"Played Tierra del Sol many times"
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.

Canadian Golf Club
"Nice course for small town."
The Canadian Golf course is both challenging and scenic. I was surprised to find such a course in the middle of the Texas panhandle. Thank you for your hard work to make the course great.
