Set along Lake Manassas, this P.B. Dye designed course features fairways that are narrow, with well bunkered and undulating greens. The signature hole is #4, a 432-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot from a narrow fairway with the lake on the right to a well-bunkered green. Hole #9, a 135-yard, par 3, island green that requires an accuracy tee shot to one of the smallest greens on the course. With accuracy and good shot-making skills, you can shoot well at this difficult course.

| I think that this course would be much better if it were just a little better maintained. I have always had a good time here. It would be 4-5 stars if the gounds were kept a little better. One time the greens had way too much sand which was a drag. Very good value though. |

| I played Virginia Oaks for the second time this weekend. While the “track” can be challenging, the course is not in good shape and it is not well managed. Although we had a confirmed tee time on both occasions, we were required to wait more than 30 minutes to tee off since management had overbooked the course. The course was VERY crowed and we had to wait on every shot. It took us 3 hours to finish the front nine and almost 6 hours for the entire round. The clubhouse was almost as bad as the course. The men’s locker room was gross with overflowing toilets and a terrible smell. Save you money and your time if you are looking for any type of pleasant golf experience. |
