• Sleepy Hollow Country Club - Eighteen Hole Course
  "High Quality Private Club"
  As a Brit abroad, I was lucky enough to receive a couple of invitations to play here. The whole experience was outstanding, from the service at the club to the course itself. The clubhouse is one of the more impressive around (probably only improved upon by my home course in the UK!). The track itself was in excellent condition and, as with other Tillinghast courses, was a good strategic challenge, although not as 'man-sized' as say Winged Foot West and Bethpage Black. More playable for someone of my ability and therefore perhaps as enjoyable.

• Rockport Country Club
  "Best Kept Secret In Texas"
  I am a very experienced player who really enjoyed the great conditions and excellent design of this golf course. I later found out that it is a Bill Coore design. He is considered one of the best minimalist designers working today. The members of this course are hiding a real gem in Southeast Texas.

• Hidden Lakes Golf Resort
  "SUPERB"
  This is by far the best public course in Idaho. It has been redesigned and has a 17,600 sq. ft. clubhouse. The only reason it only get's 4 stars is cuz they have overpriced the locals.

• Stony Ford Golf Course
  "Can Be Rough"
  Must catch early in the season due to the amount of play it gets. Looks a little worn out by July, especially if there is no rain. Could use some improvement. I have played worse.
