This course has many trees and hills, so expect some difficult lies if you don't hit the ball straight. The greens are small, and the fairways are narrow. The club also owns a tennis club and picnic area. Discounts include Senior Day and Ladies Day on Tuesdays. Rental clubs are only available for right-handed players. American Lung and F.C.A cards are accepted for discounts Monday through Thursday.

Challenging Course, Apr 21, 2004

Scott County Golf Course is set on a Mountainside. It is a very challenging course and has some of the area's best greens. The views from the course are spectacular of the surrounding countryside. Shots hit down the middle can still leave a challenging approach. This course is for the smart player of the game of golf.

Whispering Oaks Golf & Country Club
"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

Experience at Koele, The
"Enjoyable golf in one of the world's greatest settings"
The Experience at Koele is a very nice Greg Norman designed layout that will having you often looking at the scenery in lieu of thinking about your next shot. One of two golf coures on the very upscale and exclusive island of Lanai, playing the Experience is a wonderful way to spend part of the day. The staff are very friendly and cater to whatever you need. Guests are there to have a good time and many people from around the globe find their way to Lanai to stay and play. When I played, the course was not quiet mature enough and, when mature, the golf course will be superb. It has been three years since then and I look forward to the next time I get a chance to stay on Lanai and enjoy again this course and/or the Nicklaus course near the ocean. If I only had one resort visit left in me, it would be to the Manele Bay Hotel and the island of Lanai. What more can I say.
