This course was built on hilly terrain, so expect uneven lies. Shot accuracy is essential because out-of-bounds stakes line six holes. In addition, a few sand bunkers can alter your shots, plus the narrow fairways are tree lined.

The front nine is full of trees with a few water hazards and some tricky OB lines that make it a bit of a challenge. The back nine is pretty bare with only a few trees, but also has a few water hazards and some hills that create some tough lies. Overall its a very good course that is worth a round or two.

Back 9 is the orignal 9 hole course and the Front 9 is a new part of the course. Which dosn't have much for Trees on it as of yet. But is still a challinging course to play and is fun to play. Also is not a real crowded course. Well worth the couse of a round.

"Fall Visit"
Shadow Hawk is a beautiful venue. The course is hard to rate in the middle of winter when the trees are not in bloom and leafy. The fairways are open and more than fair. The greens are as challenging as they come. They are filled with undulations that make straight putts rare. The greens roll fair and pretty fast. The clubhouse is very classy and comfortable (in winter, nicer than the course itself). I would hope to play this course again in summer (heat and all) to see the beauty. It was still fun and challenging for this 15 handicap player,
