This course is known for its postage stamp-sized, undulating greens. The greens can be fast at times, especially in the summer months. The fairways are tree lined and have a primary and deep secondary cut of rough. The toughest hole is #8, a 440-yard, par 4, requiring a downhill tee shot. There is a creek running across the fairway about 290 yards from the tee box, and the green has sand bunkers on both sides. The green fee is good for all-day play. Tee times are reserved for weekends and holidays only. The pro shop is closed during January and February, so players must walk the course if they choose to play during those months.

Rock at Woodmoor, The
"The best course I've ever played."
This course is wonderful. I have a summertime home up on Drummond Island, and I play the rock every chance I get. It's just great, it captures the wonderful essence of the Island in a golf course. It's just a great place to be. You feel so alive, in the early summer morning being on this course. Plus the golf aspect is also great. It's a bit of a challenge, but when you're at the rock, you love the challenge. I guarantee, that unless you play the courses on the PGA tour, that the rock will be the best golf experience of your life.

Colton Golf Club
"Good Value"
I highly recomend this course for begining golfers and intermediate golfers alike. Although the fairways are not always in good condition, the greeens always are. 15 of the holes are par 3s and the rest are short par 4s. It's very inexpensive ($7 on weekdays!) and a good value. Its almost never crowded and you don't have to rush. Its easy enough for young golfers and allows more experienced golfers to work on their short game with a wide variety of par 3s (from 100 to 210 yards) Most of the holes are around 140-150 yards. I play at this course more than any other for a good reason, the value.

"Not uptight..."
The Hollows Golf Club is a great place to play captain's choice tournaments, twilight golf, or just to play a round of golf with family or friends.
