This course is nestled in the rolling Pennsylvania hillside. The layout boasts scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the rolling terrain gives way to wide open fairways. The generous, very undulating greens are receptive and play very true. Several of the greens are cut directly from the surrounding red-rock cliffs, including #3, a 187-yard, par 3. This hole features a dramatic change in elevation from the tee to green, and a 35-foot cliff serves as a dramatic backdrop.

This course is quite challenging and downright unforgiving in spots. Beautifully maintained in a pretty setting. If you can play it twice you will fare better on the second round.

THE LINKS OF GETTYSBURG WAS EASY TO REACH BY CAR. THE CLUB HOUSE,PARKING.AND SERVICE WAS SUPER. THE COURSE WAS PLUSH AND THE GREENS WERE FAR ABOVE MANY OTHER SIMILAR COURSES I HAVE PLAYED. I HAVE TALKED UP THIS COURSE TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LINKS OF GETTYSBURG GOLF COURSE TO EVERYONE WHO PLAYS THE SPORT OF GOLF.

Sugar Isle Golf Country
"My teams home course is Sugar Isle"
I'm on the Tecumseh High School golf team and Sugar Isle is our home course, its one the of the best courses in the area. We play all kinds of courses around this area and from the experiences I've had i think its one of the best. Its fairways are usually in pretty good shape and the greens are always in great shape, its not the best course to play on right after a big rain though because of all the rolling hills it doesnt drain water too well. I'd say its a challenge for the intermediate player and on some days even the advanced.

Grandy Nine Golf Club
"Frequent Grandy 9 Golfer"
This is a 'cute' family-owned-type feel of a golf course. I've been here many, many times with my family because it's off the beaten path and used to be fairly quiet. My parents still golf there quite a bit. Probably a fairly easy for the professional, but very nice for the beginner or one looking for an easier challenge. Not a lot of fluff anywhere in the club-house or course, but that adds to it's quaintness.
