Disappointed!!, Sep 03, 2008 |

| Played this course for the first and last time this past weekend with my father. We were disappointed in every aspect. Conditions were poor, many blind shots, terrible greens and I don't care for any par 5 that takes your driver and or 3 wood out of your hand. Although it's been dry, for the extra $ charged it should be in better shape and a better course. It's a little more expensive than better courses in the area, yet the conditions and course don't fit the price. We also had to take a cart and hand over a driver's license as collateral. Like they didn't trust us to return it undamaged, or park it properly. The bar/pro shop attendant said that is typical of better courses in the area. It is not, and they shouldn't classify themselves as a better course. The kicker was the $2 hotdogs with stale buns and only ketchup and mustard. We considered the whole experience as mgmt and/or ownership arrogance. There are many other very nice, reasonably priced courses in the area. This is not one of them. |

Now 18! And great!, Jul 22, 2005 |

| This course is now 18 holes and its my favorite course in greater Pittsburgh. Many fairways are lined with small rolling hills which help to trap errant tee shots. Beautiful grass throughout, very well maintained. But don't walk this course --- the review isn't kidding about the elevation changes, especially on the back nine. |
