This course makes optimal use of the natural landscape in what was once known as the "Half Sink" area. The rolling fairways are bordered by a dense forest and feature strategically placed bunkers which may catch you off guard if your not aware of them. The front nine has many elevated tees which offer scenic views of the course. "Once the northern border of the Chickahominy Swamp during the Civil War, The Crossings was a hiding place for outlaws and a staging area for troop movements in the Richmond Virginia area."

Nice course but...., Jun 08, 2004

Course is nice and somewhat challenging but....arrogant personell and overbooked tee times make this a looonnng miserable day of golf from the time you tee off until you finally finish 5+ hours later.... If you want to enjoy this course tee off real early or real late

"Hidden Golf Jewel In the Ozarks"
The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. The course has experienced significant upgrades in the last few years and provides a challenge for those used to wide open courses. Greens are fast, Stay below the pin. Best to play late in the day. Lots of wild life. deer, turkeys,swans ,ducks etc. So far no snakes. Great People, friendly, Driving range So-So # 3 green is tuff to read Look out
