This course's fairways are plush and its greens are large and fast. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes, and the terrain is basically flat, but there are some rolling hills that can cause some uneven lies. There are two signature holes, #9 and #18, which play to a double green. This well-maintained private course was the host to the Nike Tour's Dominion Open in 1994.

Great Overall Course, Mar 10, 2008
reviewer: Does Club Champion come with a drink? from The lake off of 15
Great Course, I grew up playing here as a young adult and I couldn't have asked for a better course to fine tune my game. The snobbery does exist, mainly among the traditional scotch drenched alpha males who seem to migrate back and forth from the bar to the course, but overall its a wonderful place.

Great private course!, Jun 16, 2004
reviewer: Tiger Woods Jr. from Glen Allen , VA
It doesn't get any better than this in Central Virginia. Excellently maintained, beautiful scenery. The only downside are the houses boardering the course.

Dominion Club a must if you can get on, Jun 08, 2004
reviewer: Darryl Pearlman from VA
This is a private club with relaxed guest policies (if you ask politely a member will most likely invite you to play with them) The course itself is challenging and interesting for any type golfer. Membership is actually very reasonable and it is a friendly club with approachable members, it is not a snobatorium.
