THIS course has immaculate greens and upscale fairways, maintained like a private country club.views are amazing. Course is not a full 72 but a very challenging course due to tight fairways and tucked- in greens.A big hitter will probably use his driver half a dozen times on 18 holes.great course for seniors women and juniors because it is not a par 3 course they will need all their clubs.don't be fooled by short yardage course plays like a full par 72. you have to have good touch and accuracy to score well.Glen Coveites are fortunate to have such an upscale course local with no waiting and no country club fees. excellent driving range to warm up or practice also

Hello out there a few words about Glen Cove Golf course. A great place for all levels of Golfers. It ls not a long course but you need to be accurate. Well maintained by a great greens keeper and staff. Any afternoon is great for beginners also has a nice driving range with very good instructors. If you come you will enjoy your day.

If Phil Mickelson honed his game here then you can imagine why hes so good. This course is very difficult if you dont hit the fairways, and if your drive is a little off your in trouble. This is a very tight driving type course, you must be in the fairway at all times, some holes are not as bad as others but some are hazardous to your golf game. I did not play well here, I am not a great player so after playing here I decided unless I get much better at this game I should avoid this course. The greens are extremly fast, I mean like putting on marble. The first hole is a good opening hole, if you hit the fairway your fine buuuuut, go left or right your in trouble. I hit my drive to the right as I am a lefty, i pull hooked my tee shot on to a mound, when I addresed the ball to hit it my right leg was up so high that I popped the ball straight up in to air and it went maybe 75 yds. already I was looking at bogie at best.... not a good beginning to my golf day. A great course non the less, your putting will be severly tested here...Have fun.....

Riverton Golf Club
"Great value/tough holes"
This course starts with the hardest starting hole in the Rochester area. Dogleg par 5 with Genesee River on the left the entire way. Second hole is a tough par 4 with bunkers in front of the green. Water comes into play on 5 holes. Greens and fairway are normally in great condition. It's a 9 holer, but for a good challenge at a nice price, you can't beat Riverton. I now live in AZ and refuse to pay what they want for a round out here.
