This outstanding course is best known for its small greens that are hard to read. In addition, mature trees line most of the fairways. The course has been redesigned over the years by William Langford and Theodore Moreau (1922), A. W. Tillinghast (1935), David Gill (1965), and Ken Killian (1983).

| Accuracy off the tee is more important than length as the fairways are lined with colorful trees. The small greens are surrounded by well-placed bunkers and then the real fun begins. The greens are fast, unless you have a downhill putt and then they are super-fast. Since the greens are so true, there are plenty of opportunities for one-putts, but also three-putts due to speed and breaks. Relaxed social atmosphere of club makes for a fun day. Pros, lead by Danny Mulhearn, are terrific golfers and teachers. |
