This traditional course is heavily wooded with elm trees. No matter which tee box you chose to play from, this course plays long. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 12th "Best in State" course for the years 1995 through 1998. The 1933 U.S. Open, won by John Goodman, was held here. The ladies' par is actually 76.

| This course has impeccable grooming.Tight fairways and fast greens. You must plan (and execute!) your shots or this course will punish you. |

| it is a beautiful golf course and the caddies are spectacular. have never been to a place where the caddies have been so nice. A few 'B' caddies named Jason, Kris, and David were an exceptionaly nice caddies. I had many good ones but right now they stuck out the most. Other than the caddies, the food eas excrutiatingly delightful. I had the pleasure to devour a scrumpcious hot dog and gatorade durring golf! Go to North Shore Country Club and you will be thankful to experience the great pleasures of a true golf course. |
