This course offers beautiful scenery combined with some challenging play. It was built on the flat plains of New Hampshire, and offers a variety of yardage to play from. Each hole is unique, providing a golfer with a new perspective from each tee. Five water hazards come into play on seven holes. The signature hole is #6, a 182-yard, par 3, which plays over water to a well-bunkered green that angles toward the water.

new owners wouldn't honor my gift certificate!, Dec 14, 2008
reviewer: Mark from NH
My wife bought me a gift certificate to Stonebridge for my birthday. I tried to redeem it and the shop staff told me that they could not honor the gift certificate because they had new ownership and they didn't take into account the money for gift certificates. How is this my problem? These people buy a golf course and won't honor a gift certificate to the course? This is very wrong and I won't be patronizing this place anymore.

A little gem in the rough., Jul 10, 2007
reviewer: Neighbor golfer from NH
I live the next town over, and have played it many times. The course is fun and challenging. I've had my share of snootiness from the staff, and think they should really look at themselves if they want to continue operating for very long. Way too pricey for my tastes right now, especially when they don't treat you right.

This is my absolute favorite course!!, Mar 27, 2007
reviewer: John H. from Goffstown, NH
I have been a member at Stonebridge for the past 5 years and I love it!! The course is always in great shape and the layout is fun and challenging. The staff is friendly and the owners are very nice and a lot of fun. The clubhouse is great with great views and has a decent menu. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Although Stonebridge is a public course, the course conditions are definitely as good if not better than the private courses in the area.

Great Course, Sep 19, 2004

Challenging course, fast greens and many hazards. Conditions were comparable to private courses. Shop staff are a little slow seem more interested with personal calls on their cells.

Golfers Course, May 03, 2004
reviewer: daveg from New Hampshire
This is a true golfers course. Depending from which tees you play, you better bring your "A" game because it can make you happy/frustrated very quickly. The layout is very, very good with increasingly difficult holes. The staff is a bit crusty but, the course is always in super shape. The greens are as good as you can get on a semi-public course. It is a bit expensive. Our foursome views it as something of a treat to go there as a break from the courses we normally would play

Good Conditions and Layout, Apr 21, 2004
reviewer: Joe from Vermont
The course was in excellent early season condition, the greens were amazing given the time of year - as good as many mid-range public courses' greens are mid-season. The layout is very good and fairly challenging from the 2nd from back tees -- back tees looked tough on a windy day. No rinky-dink par 3s. Proshop staff very nice.

Stonebridge, Mar 21, 2004
reviewer: old member from Manchester, NH
A very nince course that is playable by intermediate to advanced golfers. The first six holes are your scoring holes, followed by increasingly difficult ones. The main complaint most people have is the inattentive staff, and nasty owners, who seem to be more concerned with their bottom line then with creating a great experience. This explains the loss of membership over the years, which is good because there are more tee times. If you are just looking for a good golf course, a great selection. If you are looking for more, skip it. High greens and cart fees and the ones quoted in this selection are not accurate.
