Located just outside Phoenix, Gold Canyon Golf Resort boasts two 18-hole championship golf courses: Dinosaur Mountain and The Sidewinder.This resort added nine new holes to an existing nine to create the Sidewinder Course, which opened in September, 1998. The original nine holes on the Sidewinder Course, which opened in 1997, run along the lower flatlands and wind through a housing development. The course now measures 6,481 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 71.The picturesque Dinosaur Mountain Course can be difficult for the beginning to intermediate player. It is a par 70 and measures 6,584 yards from the back tees. Many great views of the Superstition Mountains and surrounding valleys can be seen from every hole. The course is a target-style design. The small greens are fast, and the fairways are narrow.Instruction is available through Resort Golf Schools, based at the resort and led by Scott Sackett, one of "GOLF Magazine�s" "Top 100 Teachers." "A fun course"
A local Lakeland course that lives up to it's advertisements! A little long from the middle tees for the average golfer but there is not a bad hole on the course. Lots of water and position golf is more important than the "grip it and rip it " mentality! I'd hope to get to play there again. It's worth the trip.

Clifty Creek is a subtle golf course isolated in the southern Indana landscape. Devoid of the typical golf snobbery this is a great course to relax with friends or work on your game. The only thing that this course is lacking is another nine holes and more sand traps, but I believe both are currently under construction.

"Great Beginner couse"
This course is great for beginners. Althought the course is go for starters it is also challenging. Some of the green can be quiet hard. The 5th hole in my opinion is the hardest. This course is my home course formy school golf team and it can be very hard for even some good players.
