This challenging course has a front nine that is somewhat open, and a back nine that is extremely narrow. There are water hazards that come into play on five holes. Phil Wogan designed the second nine holes, which were added in 1964.

Twin Lakes Golf Club
"Hidden Golf Jewel In the Ozarks"
The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. The course has experienced significant upgrades in the last few years and provides a challenge for those used to wide open courses. "Aluxinterior course review"
Clifty Creek is a subtle golf course isolated in the southern Indana landscape. Devoid of the typical golf snobbery this is a great course to relax with friends or work on your game. The only thing that this course is lacking is another nine holes and more sand traps, but I believe both are currently under construction.

Turquoise Valley Golf Course & RV Park
"Hidden Gem"
One of the best golf values I have seen. #1 hole is the worst hole on the course, with a ridiculous left to right sloping green that is impossible to hold. Make bogey here and you have a chance for a good round. After that, the architect did a good job of squeezing 8 holes into the available terrain. The real ambience of this course starts with #11, a long carry over a wash to a par 3. #10 is a drivable par 4 that could be improved a bit by narrowing the fairway to make it a bit more risky to go for the green. The rest of the back 9 is very well done, except for # 18, which is a pretty lame par 4. And then there is THE RATTLER, a very good par 6. Long hitters can get there in 3, setting up an eagle putt. But the 3rd is mostly carry over water. Overall one of the best courses I have played, especially for the money.

Well maintained greens, good topography change tee to green, sloped and undulating fairways provide good challenge yet managable for weekend golfers. Reasonable rates.
