This very unique course was built on what was once a historic Southern plantation originally established in the 1730's. The course has many strategically placed sand bunkers spread throughout its design and was built on the natural terrain. Water hazards (natural lakes) come into play on some holes. The course has hosted the South Carolina PGA Championship three times.

A great round of golf, Feb 11, 2004

Course was in great shape. Challenging layout. Greens very undulating but consistent. Denim NOT allowed as it says above!! Pro shop staff and starter were courteous and friendly and helpful to first time players. Food and beverage is a snack bar NOT a restaurant. Close enough to Charleston , if you stay near the course all of the things Charelston has to offer and there are many are only one-half hour away
