This fairly short course was built on rolling terrain and is well maintained. The signature hole is #14, a 488-yard, par 5, requiring a straight tee shot between out-of-bounds stakes lining the right side of the fairway and a pond on the left. Tee times are only reserved for the weekends. This course does not open until noon on Monday.

| Maplecrest is one of the best golf values in northern Indiana. The course is kept up well and is a lot of fun to play. Many of the fairways are easy to hit and the most of the par fours are not especially long. If you can't hit the fairways, the trees lining most holes are not very dense and generally, you can still get a good shot off. The greens are sloped and pretty fast. I enjoy playing at Maplecrest because I can usually shoot a decent score. I recommend this course for anyone above a 5 handicap. |

| What an amazing test of nerves when you get on the green. There are no easy putts on this course, which makes it very difficult to post a good low score. If you are above the hole, forget about two putting. It's a beautiful place, and it's fairways and bunkers are in great shape! |
