This course was carved out of the natural terrain and features a high grassy rough bordering many of the fairways. The club personnel describes it as an environmentally friendly course. It was built on rolling hills, so expect uneven lies. The greens are undulating, and six ponds and some marshy areas come into play throughout the course. This course is located about three miles from Lake Michigan, so windy days are fairly common. Senior and junior discount rates are only available Monday through Thursday before 11 AM. The 6,408-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 77.4 and slope of 138. The 5,863-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.4 and slope of 131. The 5,487-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 67.3 and slope of 119.

Frosty Valley is a golf course that gives a feeling of success in all parts of your game. Strategic pin locations give each shot to the green a different spin, and makes even the best person's short game be tested. As for the far hitters, the par 5's here are among far distances and have challenging obsticles just off to the side of the fairways, forcing you to hit with immense precision. The greens have tough breaks in them, making this course exciting and a fun place to visit. Frosty Valley also has a pro shop with a great amount of equipment that will suit any golfer.

Oak Lane Golf Course
"Short but Spicy"
This isn't the longest golf course in the world but the mature trees make shot making skills essential. The fairways have narrowed over the years and being able to hit it straight is essential. This is a great golf course for a casual round of low stress golf. Great for kids,good players, beginner players and wives. Heck, I met my wife there.
