This course is very spread out on 450 acres in land and was carved out of woods, wetlands and pastures. The greens are undulating and have medium size and speed. One of the more difficult holes is #7, a 513-yard, par 5, requiring a second shot over a creek, and an approach shot to a green guarded in front by a pair of church-pew bunkers.
