This course has elevated tees, and its large greens are fast. In addition, there are numerous trees that can alter your shots. The extremely well-bunkered greens are medium-sized and undulating. Water comes into play on holes #5, a 198-yard, par 3, which has a pond along the left side of the hole, and #18, a 434-yard, par 4, with a pond sitting along the right edge of the fairway. "Golf Digest" rated the course 58th among the "Top 75 Public Courses" in 1990. The 5,578-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.6 and a slope of 133.

A fun course and a good walk, Aug 06, 2007

This course demands a straight tee ball because of the trees and a good judge of distance because of the poorly marked distances. There are some fun holes, and some others that will fool a first-timer. Friendly staff that seems happy you are there. Convenient location on the south side of Grand Haven.

Mt. Adams Country Club
"A great fun course with a fun group of members"
Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

The greens are well kept and very fast at times. Many are sloped and undulated which makes putting difficult at times. The course is pretty open but has a nice layout.
