This course has water hazards coming into play on thirteen holes. The fairways vary in undulation and nearly all the tee boxes and greens are elevated. There are fifty-eight greenside sand bunkers on the course. The course doesn't open until noon on Mondays.

| For those of you who think your game is in top shape, I challenge you to come play Watermark. At 1st glance it looks like a fairly short and easy standard 18 holes, but those who go there with that mindset often find them selves in trouble. There are hazards along sides of nearly ever hole. The course winds through a terrain filled with homes, woods, and swamps. The fairways are extremely tight making it difficult to swing away and let it rip off the tee. If you miss on tee shots your ball will be lost! Once you find the green, 2 or 3 golf balls later, you will find that the greens are deceptive and quick. If you stay out of the crap this course isn’t half bad, but trust me that is much easier said then done. My Grandfather built this bastard of a course and I had to learn the game here, and after millions of lost balls I still don’t get it. Golf here is a different game. |
