This wide-open links-type course offers breathtaking vistas from every tee. A standard cut of rough definines the fairways. The large greens are undulating and fast, and the terrain is hilly. The signature hole is #17, a 474-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water.

| Championship golf at incredibly affordable prices. Coyote del Malpais is a jewel for NM goflers who know of its existence. During the week, golfers can simply walk on and play uninterrupted golf on a well manicured challenging course. The course is watered with effluent and of the 16 lakes included in the layout, 14 are usually full and come in to play on at least nine of the holes. Sweeping vistas of high mesas and mountains offer eye candy. The club house offers a fully-stocked pro shop and cafe with some of the best Green Chile Cheeseburgers in the state that can be eaten on the upper deck overlooking the driving range. The pro, Manny Martinez, is friendly and knowledgeable. |
