This course was designed like the old links courses in Scotland. The most difficult hole is #8, a par 3, which is guarded by water and looks like a volcano from an overhead view. Ponds come into play on two holes, and two of the fairways are doglegs. There are reduced rates available from November 1st through February 28th, call the pro shop for more information. This clubs hours and rates are subject to change without notice. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

"Hidden jewel"
This course is in the middle of the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is simply the best course I ever played for the money. This course is quite enjoyable to play. While length is not much of a factor, it plays much tighter than it appears. It is a fun course, and one that will test your risk/reward skills. The course is well developed, and very hilly. I would suggest that you ride while playing this course as well. This course is one that I wouldn't mind playing any day of the week.

Deer Run Golf Course
"One of the best courses in the area"
This course is a very mature course with a scorable front 9. The back nine is more diffecult to score on, but it can be done if you take some chances. This course is definatly one of the better courses within a fifty mile radius. 5 lakes come into play not three and there is a large creek that runs through the middle of the entire course. The entire course was carved out of the timber so it is very mature. Over all a good course for a small town.
