This scenic course is surrounded by the Berkshire Mountains. The course was built on flat terrain, and water hazards come into play on eight holes. The signature hole is #5, a 500-yard, par 5, requiring a long tee shot to the fairway, then a carry over water to an elevated green with a sand bunker protecting the front.

| This may be as tough a 6,100 yard course as any in the state. Narrow fairways, postage stamp, crowned greens make hitting many in regulation very hard. The upside is that on the short front nine if you hit a green in regulation, you have a birdie putt. The more traditional back side is more open and the greens are much larger - at least most of them. The yardages on the card make you think you can score easily, but such is not the case. Excellent condition all of the time. |
