This course is split in the middle by rarely-used railroad tracks. Most holes were designed with dogleg fairways. The greens are relatively flat, but they can be undulating at times. There are no sand bunkers, but the course has many trees that can cause some difficulties.

| Lived in Great Falls 25 years and played the course hundreds of rounds. Only four holes left to improve and the course will be completely redone in past three years and will be a top course in Montana. Very challenging especially the back nine holes. A great value at $25.00 a round and you can still walk this course if you prefer. You'll enjoy the round of golf if you get the opportunity you won't be sorry. |

| It's not called R.O. Speck anymore, and hasn't been in quite a while. They've refurbished most of the course but still have about 4 more holes to redo. There are tons of sand bunkers now and a scenic pond/lake with water fountains, and it's actually very nice. The driving range is poor though. |
