This course was cut out of an old dairy farm and built on hilly terrain. Most holes play downhill and feature mature trees that can alter your shots. Several creeks and streams come into play on fourteen holes. The fairways are generous, and the greens are slightly undulating. The signature hole is #17, a 557-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up a double dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot over a ravine to the green. The green is situated on a bank with a lateral water hazard on the left side. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 6th "Best New Private Course" in America for 1995, and they also selected it as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1997-98.

Play it if you can, Aug 02, 2005
reviewer: Goffer from Green Bay
Terrific course cut out of an amazing piece of land. Most holes play downhill, so the course plays a bit shorter than yardage on the card, but almost every par 4 and 5 feature risk/reward for being aggressive. Try and be a hero and you can shoot some big numbers. Judging yardage is a real challenge, given the fairway undulations and impact the wind can have. Course is always in wonderful shape...generous greens are probably the fastest in the area. They also have a top-notch practice facility and a beautiful club house. I have an opportunity to play here about twice a year, and it's a real treat. It's a private course, so you need to know a member to get on, but if you can connect with a member it's well worth the price.

Awesome Course, Jul 07, 2005
reviewer: Joe Kolar from Chicago
I play this course every year and it is by far one of the top 3 courses I play every year. The course is challenging, the greens are tough, and the ammenities are superb. It is a must play if you can get on.

Golfable Golf Quote of the Day:
" One of the most fascinating things about golf is how it reflects the cycle of life. No matter what you shoot - the next day you have to go back to the first tee and begin all over again and make yourself into something. -- Peter Jacobsen "
