This course was designed to play similar to the Scottish-links course. The fairways are wide, and water hazards come into play on five holes. Most holes require a tee shot from out of a chute. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. They also rated it as the 4th "Best in State" for 1995-96, and the 5th best for 1997-98. The ladies' par is actually 78.
