The fairways on this course are narrow and lined with trees. The small greens are undulating and fairly well bunkered, and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The terrain is rolling, and there are many scenic views of the countryside. George Cobb redesigned the course in 1968. Caddies are mandatory if you choose to walk the course.

Great course, provides a high level of skill. I recommend that everyone come play. The scenery is beautiful with lots of nice houses. The Director of Golf there is great and provides for all the golfer's needs. 5 stars for Greensboro Country Club

"Good Starter Course"
For an inexpensive, well maintained course to play while you are learning the basics of golf, this course is the one to play on. No par 5's. The course has good water, and easy par 3's that are helpful when you feel the pressure of the group behind you when your beginning. For the price, the location in Fountain Valley's Mile Square Park is beautiful, and I've never felt that a person starting off in the sport would feel embarrassed to make a mistake at this course.

"A great round of golf"
Course was in great shape. Challenging layout. Greens very undulating but consistent. Denim NOT allowed as it says above!! Pro shop staff and starter were courteous and friendly and helpful to first time players. Food and beverage is a snack bar NOT a restaurant. Close enough to Charleston , if you stay near the course all of the things Charelston has to offer and there are many are only one-half hour away
