This course's back nine was constructed in 1990. The course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect some interesting lies. The fairways are tree lined, and out-of-bounds stakes line at least six holes. Greenville Creek comes into play on seven holes, and the fast greens are small and undulating. The ladies' par is actually 75.

This course is a great test for any golfer! It is your typical early 1900's country club on the front nine and the back is a test with beautiful ever-changing scenery. With small greens and 100 year old trees lining the fairways, this is a shot maker's course, requiring imagination and creativity! Being realatively short based on today's standards, GCC still challenges low handicappers and big drivers with holes favoring irons and 3 woods off the tee. Based on the style of course, par (71), and its location and surrounding courses; GCC would be a great stop for anyone looking to play some golf in the Darke county area.
