| I played here from 1968-1983. It was (and probably still is) very tight & narrow. Much water into play. A lot of soft ground. I remember being a caddy there making $7 a bag in '75! I wonder where Toby Lyons went. Nick Manero always got the first tee time. |

Don't miss your tee time, Apr 05, 2004 |

| Perfect golfing conditions from Opening Day through Closing Day. Named Burning Tree because the trees appear to be on fire during fall foliage. Narrow tree-lined fairways. Lots of green-side bunkers. Large-to-small aundulating greens. Forgiving fairways, penalizing rough. Par 3's range from easy to the most difficult. Par 4's require more accuracy than power. Par 5's require more power and accuracy than most in the CT-NY area. Informative caddies. If your're ever invited, make the tee time. |
