| East is longer than the west but not too difficult. West has far more trouble. The South, the real challenge, is narrow with tree lined fairways requiring you to be long and straight off the tee. |

| This is a very enjoyable course as far as the East and West Nine go. But the real challenge is the South Nine. If you have a hook or a slice, the South Nine will chomp you up and spit you out! Overall one of the best public courses in the Des Moines area. |
