This course is fairly hilly, so you can expect some uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on six holes. In addition, many mature trees line the fairways, along with new trees planted by the grounds crew.

Farmland Links Course, Aug 26, 2005

Interesting Course...on the most part wide open so a bring your driver...greens are fast and challenging but fair..some challnging pitch shots...caution on hole # 3 front to back slope of green will make ball feed to back. Fun course.

If I could have fewer than 1 Star I would, Aug 22, 2005
reviewer: Kyle from Westchester, NY
This is by far one of the most poorly manicured courses that I have ever played. There is not one tee-box that is level and the fairways are completely burned out. Their greens are okay, but the pin positions are in spots that would make the devil angry. As another reviewer stated, if you're looking for lush fairways and country club atmosphere, DON'T BOTHER. The greens were/are in good condition, but the rest of the course makes the experience a poor one.

Is there a straight putt anywhere on this course?, Jun 25, 2004
reviewer: Ettiene from Ithaca, NY
The first thing to get your attention is the greens. They are fast with many breaks, and some are two level monsters, waiting to catch your ball on the wrong side of the hole, leaving you with an impossible putt. The rest of the course is pretty average, with a good mix of holes/layout. Could use some sand traps though. If you are looking for a country club, dont bother. This is simply a good test of your golfing skills, without the frills, and wallet friendly.

Tricky Greens, Jun 01, 2004
reviewer: Bill from Lansing, New York
A good challenging course. Always fun to play. Greens are about as tricky as you can find anywhere. Don`t just play a-round, enjoy the great countryside views.
